Creative photography is about seeing, processing what the eye sees through one's personal emotional and visual filters and producing an image that conveys the photographer's vision to the viewer.

My two favorite Ansel Adams quotations say it best:

"You don't take a photograph, you make it" and
"There is nothing worse than a brilliant image of a
fuzzy concept"

My personal style emphasizes visual impact through the use of dynamic composition, dramatic use of color, contrast, perspective and other techniques to create images having what I call the "wow" factor. You will also see several images scattered throughout my galleries which present rather conventional subjects in a style that can best be described as "experimental" - or, more candidly as "off the wall".

HELPFUL HINT: Viewing these images on an LCD (flat panel) monitor which is usually set at maximum brightness, may have a tendency to "wash out" the color! To view these images the way they will appear as a finished print, you can temporarily decrease your monitor's brightness setting to around 30%.
